Location
The municipality of Lilo-an lies on the eastern coast of Cebu Province. compose of 14 barangays and is part of the 5th district of cebu. it is bounded on the north and northeast by the municipality of Compostela, on the east by Camotes Sea, on the south and southwest by the municipality of Consolacion. It is one of the 6 municipalities and three cities that comprise Metro Cebu.
Land Area
Fourteen barangays comprise Liloan's total land area of 5,210 hectares. These are Cabadiangan, Calero, Catarman, Cotcot, Jubay, Lataban, Mulao, Poblacion, San Roque, San Vicente, Santa Cruz , Tabla, Tayud and Yati. Of the total land area, only around 19 percent are plains: the Poblacion and Barangays Cotcot, Yati, Catarman and Tayud.
